26 October 2023: Preet Kaur Gill MP thanks WMPCC following announcement Quinton Police Station will re-open in early 2024

The closure of Quinton Police Station is a move Preet opposed at the time, and securing its re-opening is a campaign Preet led ever since it closed its doors.

Following notice in October last year that the Station will re-open, Preet thanked Simon Foster (West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner) for his receptiveness to Preet's correspondence over the years as part of this campaign.

Thanks were also extended to key individuals at West Midlands Police including Chief Superintendent Richard North, Chief Constable Craig Guildford, Constituency Inspector Jason Wathes, and Quinton Ward Sergeant Andy Mimnagh, among others.

Preet is committed to continuing to work with all those involved in bringing Quinton Police Station back into use.

See Preet's letter below.

If you have questions or concerns about Quinton Police Station, crime, or policing in Edgbaston then please write to Preet on preet.gill.mp@parliament.uk or telephone 0121 392 8426.
