24 November 2023: Preet writes to the Home Secretary about abortion buffer zones

On 18 October 2022, a cross-party group of 297 backbench MPs voted to stop harassment outside abortion clinics by introducing safe access zones in the area of which anti-abortion activity would not be allowed.

In November, many constituents wrote to Preet about the Government having not brought the zones into force.

Therefore, Preet raised this with the Home Secretary.
