As a frequent traveller between Birmingham and London, Preet can personally testify as to the appalling service Avanti provides in terms of cancelled and late-running trains.

Indeed, Avanti has recently slashed timetables because of a shortage of staff.

This has happened at a time when Avanti managers are reported to have joked about receiving 'free money' from the Government with a slide entitled 'Roll up, roll up - get your free money here.'

Preet has therefore called on the Transport Secretary to take action over dreadful Avanti service.
